1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
seowebtouch (Einzelunternehmen)
Alexander Schmitt
Am Wäldchen 15, 35649 Bischoffen-Wilsbach, Germany
Email: support@seowebtouch.com
2. What data we collect
We only collect the personal data you give us directly, through the Free SEO Check form, the checkout process, or direct email/phone contact:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (where you provide it)
- Postal address (billing address, for checkout only)
We do not collect this data through any other means, and we do not buy or receive personal data about you from third parties.
3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Responding to a Free SEO Check request | Name, email, phone (optional), website | Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Processing an order (checkout) | Name, email, phone, billing address, VAT ID (optional) | Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Website analytics (Google Analytics 4) | Usage data, only after consent | Art. 6(1)(a) |
| Responding to direct email/phone contact | Whatever you send us | Art. 6(1)(f) |
4. Analytics — Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how the site is used. This script does not load, and no analytics cookie is set, until you explicitly consent to it via the cookie banner. IP addresses are anonymised. You can withdraw consent at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer — see the Cookie Policy → for full detail on what is and isn't set before you decide.
We do not use any advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking scripts.
6. Third parties
Beyond Google Analytics (consent-gated, §4), we do not share your personal data with any third party. We do not use an external mail, CRM or payment processor in this build — form submissions and the checkout are handled without transmitting your data to a live third-party service.
7. Retention
We keep enquiry and order data only as long as needed to respond to your request, fulfil an order, or meet German tax retention obligations for invoices (currently 10 years under §147 AO), whichever is longer. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics 4's default retention settings, only for visitors who consented.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15),
- request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16),
- request erasure of your data (Art. 17),
- request restriction of processing (Art. 18),
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20),
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21),
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal,
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Hessen, the Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@seowebtouch.com.
