Cancellation & Refunds (Widerruf & Stornierung)

1. Cancelling or rescheduling a consultation, audit call or workshop/training date

You may cancel or reschedule a booked consultation, SEO Audit call, or SEO Training/workshop date free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a fee of 50% of that engagement's price. This applies specifically to scheduled appointments — audit kickoff calls, workshop and training dates — not to retainer services generally, which are covered under §2 below.

2. Retainer cancellation and notice

Retainer services (Local SEO, Technical SEO, Content & On-Page SEO, AI Search Visibility, E-Commerce SEO, and the bundle packages) run for any stated minimum term at the agreed price. After the minimum term, they continue month-to-month and either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice, effective at the end of the then-current billing month. See each service's pricing section, or Terms, for the specific minimum term that applies.

3. Consumers and businesses are treated differently under German law — §14 BGB

The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) described below applies only to consumers (Verbraucher) — private individuals acting outside their trade or profession. It does not apply to businesses (Unternehmer) acting within their trade, business or profession under §14 BGB. If you are purchasing as a business, §1–2 above (not the withdrawal right below) govern your cancellation terms.

4. Right of withdrawal for consumers (Widerrufsbelehrung)

This section applies only where you are purchasing as a consumer.

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (seowebtouch, Alexander Schmitt, Am Wäldchen 15, 35649 Bischoffen-Wilsbach, Germany, support@seowebtouch.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Consequence of requesting service to begin during the withdrawal period. If you expressly requested that we begin performing the service before the withdrawal period ends, you shall pay us an amount proportionate to what has been performed until the time you inform us of your withdrawal, compared with the full scope of the contract. If we have fully performed the service before you exercise your right of withdrawal, your right of withdrawal is lost. This is why checkout asks consumer customers to expressly confirm, where relevant, whether work should start before the 14-day period ends.
